Touch ‘Em All #116
Three cast members in one room? Yes, three cast members in one room. Since Jason Hernandez was visiting the Seattle area, he and area natives D.C. Lundberg & Jon Miller congregated at the Miller house to produce a very special “recorded live” episode. (With that, we apologize for the echo you’ll hear in this episode. The three were sharing one microphone and the audio engineer didn’t realize that it would create such an echo. And by “audio engineer,” I mean “D.C.”)
The gang discussed the two on-field confrontations that took place; the first involving Yasiel Puig (surprise, surprise) & Nick Hundley, the second involving Juiio Ureña and… pretty much the entire Braves roster.
It’s the home stretch, and with that, we look a little more in depth at each division race, as well as both Wild Cards. The National League races are considerably more interesting.
The Dodgers have created a flair for blowout wins and spectacular loses. We discuss one of the latter here. The infamous walk-off balk.
Edwin Diaz is setting the world on fire, so to speak, and made a bet with M’s skipper Scott Servais. The gang talks about the season he’s putting together, as well as digging into his mechanics a bit, and his future.
Safeco Field soon won’t be named “Safeco Field.” What should it be called? The three amigos give their thoughts.
All of this from Jon Miller’s dining table.
